I started working for this company back in 2003, just after my daughter Trinity was born. I went from seafood clerk to grocery manager in three short months, and wound up burning out by my third year working 60-90 hour weeks. After taking a break for a few years, I went back with the company in July of 2010, and have been working ‘part-time’ as a grocer since then. In April of 2011, I received a type of promotion by now being in change of HBC/GM (HABA) ordering and packing out, as well as seasonal displays, re-sets, and other things relating to that department.
Doing everything from breaking down loads, to packing out pieces, facing/leveling, making bales…. To grocery ordering, new item ordering, resets, etc., is what I have done, and do now. I like the work I do here, and enjoy the people I work with. It’s always an adventure.
